41 people have been detained for insulting Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his family during illegal protests against the imprisonment of Ekrem Imamoğlu.

Axar.az reports that Istanbul City Prosecutor's Office announced this.

The detainees have been charged with "insulting the president," "violating laws on protests and demonstrations," and "resisting an on-duty officer," and a detention order has been issued for them.
