SpaceX launched a batch of 28 Starlink V2 Mini satellites into low Earth orbit on Saturday night.

Axar.az reports citing SpaceX, On Saturday, April 5 at 11:07 p.m. ET, Falcon 9 launched 28 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

This was the 19th flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched Crew-6, SES O3b mPOWER-B, USSF-124, Bluebird 1-5, and now 15 Starlink missions.

Since May 2019, SpaceX has launched over 8,200 satellites under the "Starlink" project. Some of them have malfunctioned or drifted out of orbit. Approximately 7,200 units are still operational in orbit.
