Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev made remarkable and critical remarks on Turkiye-Azerbaijan relations, the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), the future of the Turkic world and the recognition of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) at the international forum “Towards a New World Order” held at ADA University with the participation of more than 80 experts from 44 countries. "Taking into account political balances, President Ilham Aliyev says to the creators of the international system, 'we are there too," with his courageous determination. The President of Azerbaijan, who says at every opportunity that he has a very close and special relationship with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, is a first-rate statesman and an outstanding diplomat in the Caucasus and the region.

Important steps are being taken to strengthen the relations of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus with Azerbaijan, and its recognition, first of all, by the Organization of Turkic States. President Ilham Aliyev also declared the position demonstrated by Azerbaijan in this direction. It was emphasized that "there is no doubt among our brothers in Northern Cyprus that we are with you until an independent country is established and recognized by the international community."

This speech by Ilham Aliyev against the international community, which, let alone recognizing the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, even hesitates to mention its name, or against the power centers that prohibit it, demonstrates the global political greatness of the Turkish statesman. Azerbaijan is not only Turkey's brother, but also a strategic partner.
