Russian strikes on Sum: Killed 34, injured 117 - Photo

The Russian army has launched rocket strikes on the Ukrainian city of Sum.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the secretary of the Sum City Council, Artyom Kobzar.

“The enemy has again attacked the civilian population. As a result of the strikes today, 20 residents were killed. There are also destroyed buildings,” Kobzar said.

According to the Sum city prosecutor's office, 34 people were injured as a result of the rocket strikes. 5 of the injured are minors.

Ukrainian Interior Minister Igor Klimenko said that at least 21 people lost their lives and 83 were injured as a result of the attack. 7 of the injured are minors.

“The rocket strikes were launched on the central streets of the city, public transport, and buildings,” he said.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Ukraine announced that the death toll from the rocket strikes on the center of the city of Sum has risen to 31. Two of the dead are children.

It was noted that 84 people, including 7 children, were injured as a result of the incident.
