Pezeshkian thanks Khamenei for approving indirect US talks

Members of the 14th administration's cabinet expressed their gratitude to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, for granting strategic approval to initiate indirect talks with the United States.

Axar.az reports during the 69th cabinet meeting, presided over by President Masoud Pezeshkian on Sunday, members also commended Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi for his efforts in leading the first round of indirect talks, which took place in Muscat, Oman, on Saturday.

The cabinet members also listened to FM Araghchi’s report on the first round of the indirect discussions focused on the removal of anti-Iran sanctions.

Additionally, the cabinet approved several executive bylaws related to the Seventh National Development Plan.
