China is trying to cooperate with Europe, South Korea, and Japan to combat the tariffs imposed by US President Donald Trump.
Axar.az reports citing foreign media.
“Beijing diplomats have contacted other governments affected by Trump’s tariffs, including sending letters to several countries expressing their interest in cooperation. Contacts have also been established with US allies such as Europe, Japan, and South Korea. The letters highlighted China’s position, the need for multilateralism, and for countries to stand together. In addition, US policy was criticized,” the report said.
It should be noted that some time ago, Chinese leader Xi Jinping said that the European Union should join forces with Beijing to oppose Donald Trump’s tariffs.
