Russia says 1 killed in Kursk drone strike

A Ukrainian drone strike on the Russian city of Kursk overnight killed an 85-year-old woman and injured nine others, according to regional officials.

Axar.az, citing DW, reports that the attack caused fires in several apartment buildings.

The strike follows a deadly Russian missile attack on Ukraine's Sumy city a day earlier, which killed at least 34 people.

Ukraine's top military commander also reported that thousands of Russian military vehicles have been destroyed since the beginning of the year.
