US outlines terms for Iran deal

The Iran deal will only be completed if it is a "Trump deal."

Axar.az reports that these words were made by Stephen Whitkoff, the US President's special representative for the Middle East, on the social network.

"Any final agreement must create a framework for peace, stability, and prosperity in the Middle East - this means that Iran must suspend and dismantle its nuclear enrichment and nuclear weapons programs. It is important for the world that we reach a tough, fair agreement that will stand the test of time, and that is what President Trump has asked me to do," he said.

It should be noted that on April 12, indirect talks between US and Iranian officials took place in Oman. It was agreed that the talks would continue on April 19.
