Pushkov: Ukraine’s EU bid could end the union

Ukraine's accession to the European Union (EU) could lead to the collapse of the union.

Axar.az reports that these thoughts were expressed by Russian senator Alexei Pushkov.

"The Ukrainian adventure, instead of strengthening the European Union, could be the beginning of its end," Pushkov noted.

According to the senator, the division and excessive tension of forces that will result from Ukraine's accession will ultimately be disastrous for the bloc of European countries.
