4.0-magnitude quake hits near Shaki

A 4.0-magnitude earthquake hit 6 kilometers east of the Shaki station, near the Shaki-Oghuz border.

Axar.az reports according to the Republican Seismological Service Center’s Earthquake Research Bureau, the quake struck at 8:31 a.m. local time at a depth of 17 kilometers.

The tremor was felt up to magnitude 4 at the epicenter.
