China has warned countries against making trade deals with the US that undermine China's interests, in response to the Trump administration’s use of tariffs to pressure nations into restricting trade with Beijing.

Axar.az reports that the US has imposed steep tariffs on Chinese goods, with plans to negotiate exemptions for other countries in exchange for support.

China criticized these tactics and promised countermeasures.

Japan and South Korea have begun talks with the US, and India faces a high tariff unless it reaches an agreement. While Trump argues tariffs will boost American manufacturing, critics say the strategy is risky and economically damaging. Tensions have triggered global market instability.
