Iran backs the rights of both Baku, Yerevan

We have always defended the rights of Azerbaijan, and we also defend Armenia within the framework of its rights.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, in an interview with AzTV, while talking about Azerbaijani-Armenian relations.

“We are trying to ensure that both sides live peacefully based on neighborly principles and provide assistance to each other,” the head of state noted.
