Kyrgyzstan acquires S-300 missile systems from Russia

Kyrgyzstan has purchased S-300 surface-to-air missile systems from Russia.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Marat Imankulov, the Secretary of the Kyrgyzstan Security Council.

He did not disclose the total number of systems acquired by Kyrgyzstan.

It should be noted that the supply of air defense systems was agreed upon during Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov's visit to Russia in 2021.
