Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has reiterated a threat to strike Iran’s nuclear program amid growing concerns in Israel that U.S. President Donald Trump is nearing a new nuclear deal with Tehran.

Axar.az, citing JP, reports that while Katz emphasized Israel’s readiness to act, Israeli officials fear Trump may prevent military action to secure a compromise agreement that may not meet Israel's key demands.

Despite the progress in U.S.-Iran negotiations, including an upcoming round of talks, Israel maintains active communication with the U.S., pressing for assurances that Iran will not be allowed to develop nuclear weapons.
