Tesla Chair Robyn Denholm denied a Wall Street Journal report claiming the board was searching for a new CEO to replace Elon Musk, calling it “absolutely false.”

Axar.az, citing Reuters, informs that the report said the board contacted executive search firms amid concerns over Musk’s focus on government work under President Trump and his far-right political stances, which have sparked protests and vandalism.

Musk has pledged to spend more time at Tesla, which is pivoting toward autonomous vehicles and AI.

The company faces declining EV sales, rising global competition, and investor concerns about leadership stability.
