Chinese envoy: U.S. tariffs won’t intimidate Beijing

The U.S. will not be able to intimidate China with tariff decisions.

Axar.az reports that China’s ambassador to the U.S. stated this, Xie Feng.

He noted that if Washington wants to hold talks on these issues, it must engage Beijing on equal terms:

"This destabilizes businesses, increases costs, hits financial markets, and slows global economic growth. The tariff war was not started by China. We do not want a war."
