5.1 quake hits Russia’s Kamchatka coast

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 struck the waters of Avacha Bay in Russia’s Kamchatka region.

Axar.az informs the region’s Ministry of Emergency Situations reported the incident.

The quake occurred at a depth of 58 kilometers in Avacha Bay.

Tremors reaching up to magnitude 3 were felt in parts of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
