Putin-Xi talks conclude after 7.5 hours

A meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping has begun in Moscow.

Axar.az reports that the talks are being held at the Kremlin.

Xi Jinping was officially welcomed at the Kremlin Palace with a formal ceremony.

It should be noted that the Chairman of the Communist Party of China is visiting Russia to take part in events marking the 80th anniversary of the victory over fascism. He is expected to hold both bilateral and one-on-one talks with Putin today.

The meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping has ended.

The Chinese leader left the Kremlin, where talks in a limited and expanded format, as well as informal tea talks, were held.

In total, the high-level Russian-Chinese talks lasted about seven and a half hours.
