Turkish Airlines cancels flights to Pakistan

Turkish Airlines will cancel flights to Pakistan on May 8 and 9 due to the ongoing situation in the region.

Axar.az reports the airline issued a statement confirming the cancellations.

"Due to political instability in the region, flights to Islamabad and Lahore on Thursday, May 8, and Friday, May 9, have been canceled. As a result, six flights between Istanbul, Islamabad, and Lahore will not operate. Tickets purchased before May 7 for these flights can be refunded or rescheduled to another date without any additional charges," the statement said.
