Turkiye has overcome all obstacles, and very soon the PKK will lay down its arms and dissolve the organization.

Axar.az reports Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this during a meeting with a group of ministers and MPs.

According to him, a new era will begin for the whole of Turkiye:

“In this regard, politics will have a major responsibility. Some may try to take political advantage of this process, and we must be ready for that. A smooth path does not await us. I trust you on this matter.”

The president also touched on the investigation into financial crimes involving the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality:
“Our duty is to ensure that the court can do its job properly.”
