The United States has signed a major trade deal with the United Kingdom.

Axar.az reports that US President Donald Trump said this in a statement to reporters at the White House.

Trump added that this is a very big deal and that certain adjustments will be made to the deal in the future.

According to Trump, the deal will cover billions of dollars worth of US exports, including beef, ethanol, and other agricultural products.

“They will also expedite the customs process for American products, so our exports will be subject to a very, very fast approval procedure and there will be no bureaucratic obstacles,” Trump emphasized.

The British government announced that as part of the economic agreement, US tariffs on the UK's automotive industry will be immediately reduced from 27.5% to 10%, and tariffs on steel and aluminum products will be eliminated.
