The head of the Roman Catholic Church, Pope Leo XIV (Robert Francis Prevost), addressed the crowd gathered in St. Peter's Square.

Axar.az reports that Pope Leo XIV greeted approximately 150,000 people gathered in St. Peter's Square from the balcony of St. Peter's Basilica.

In his speech, he called for peace in the world.

It should be noted that today, American Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost was elected Pope.
