A trilateral meeting between the heads of foreign affairs departments of Turkiye, the United States and Syria took place within the framework of the informal summit of foreign ministers of NATO member states in Antalya.

Axar.az reports, citing the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, that the talks between US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, and Syrian Foreign Minister Asad al-Sheibani were held at the NEST Congress Center in the Belek district.

Hakan Fidan called for the lifting of all sanctions imposed on Damascus and for the prevention of destabilization in Syria.
