A logistics base for Russia’s Black Sea Fleet will be established in Abkhazia.

Axar.az informs this statement was made by the so-called “president” of Abkhazia, Badr Gunba.

He stated that the facility will be built near the city of Ochamchire, where the Russian Federal Security Service's Border Guard coastal patrol ships are stationed.

“It’s not a naval base, but a logistics base specifically for the Black Sea Fleet that is planned to be opened in the Ochamchire area,” he noted.
