Ukrainian Ground Forces commander submits resignation

Mykhailo Drapatyi, Commander of the Ukraine’s Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has submitted his resignation.

Axar.az reports he announced the decision on his Facebook account.

"This is a conscious step dictated by my personal sense of responsibility for the tragedy at the 239th training ground, which resulted in the deaths of our soldiers," Drapatyi stated.

It should be noted that earlier today, a Russian strike hit a Ukrainian Ground Forces training center, resulting in 12 deaths and 60 injuries.
