The next defense budget will reduce the amount of military aid to Ukraine.
Axar.az reports that Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth said this during a hearing in Congress.
He said the current administration looks at this conflict from a different angle.
“We believe that negotiations, a peaceful settlement are in the best interests of both sides and our nations,” he said.
Since February 2022, the United States has provided more than $66 billion in assistance to Ukraine.
