As part of the evacuation of foreign citizens from Iran, the process of crossing the state border through the Astara border crossing point continues.

Axar.az reports that several more employees of the Kyrgyz Embassy in Iran have entered the territory of Azerbaijan.

The evacuees were met by official representatives of the Azerbaijani side, as well as employees of the Kyrgyz Embassy in Baku.

It should be noted that some foreign countries have appealed to the Azerbaijani government to assist in the evacuation of their citizens in Iran, requesting assistance in returning to their countries through the territory of Azerbaijan in transit.
