5.1 magnitude quake jolts Iran

An earthquake of magnitude 5.1 was recorded in Iran.

Axar.az informs that the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center reported this.

The epicenter of the earthquake was located 36 km northwest of the city of Semnan, which has a population of approximately 124 thousand people, and its focus was located at a depth of 10 km.

There are no reports of casualties or damage.
