Fire erupts at hull port, No casualties

A fire has broken out at the port in the city of Hull, England.

Axar.az reports that firefighting operations have begun on a ship anchored at the “Albert Dock” port. Four fire engines, an aerial platform, the Hull Coastguard, and an emergency medical team have been dispatched to the scene. The fire was reported at 10:22 a.m. local time.

According to a spokesperson for the service, the fire started in the cargo hold of a metal-carrying ship. People were on board, but all were safely evacuated, and no casualties have been reported so far.

Thick smoke is visible across the city center, and some shops and roads have been temporarily closed.
