Millions of residents of the central and western states of the United States have been advised to stay home to avoid putting their health at risk due to toxic smoke from wildfires spreading from Canada.
Axar.az informs that Newsweek reported this.
"The fires in Canada have created a cloud of toxic smoke that has reached the United States, affecting air quality there.
About 22 million people in the states of Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan are currently under a nationwide air quality warning that will remain in effect until July 14. Earlier, the Premier of the Canadian province of Manitoba announced that 17,000 people had been evacuated due to wildfires. A state of emergency has been declared in the province," the report said.
