There is no point in striking residential areas of Moscow or Saint Petersburg, as it would not affect the course of military operations and would only enrage the population.

Axar.az reports that Ukrainian aviation expert Valerii Romanenko made this statement.

“Such strikes would have no effect. They would only anger the population. Look, they’re hitting us—have we shown any inclination to surrender? I don’t see such tendencies, I don’t know anyone like that; they only provoke us. That’s why I see no point in striking residential areas in Moscow,” Romanenko said.

The expert emphasized that it also makes no sense for the Ukrainian Armed Forces to waste their limited drones trying to break windows in the ‘Moscow City’ business district.
