In India, 33 people have died after being struck by lightning during a week of cyclones accompanied by monsoon rains.

Officials from the eastern state of Bihar stated that most of those killed by lightning were farmers and outdoor workers.

It is worth noting that Bihar, located in eastern India, experiences annual floods and other natural disasters that force hundreds of thousands of people to leave their homes.
