The international creative team behind “God’s Armor: Ultimatum” has begun the next stage of filming in Baku.
Axar.az reports, citing the Azerbaijan Cinema Agency, that the next stage of production has started in the Azerbaijani capital.
The film’s plot centers on a new mission for the “Asian Falcon,” who must find the ancient Tumar artifact, with a reward of more than $20 million offered for it. The film is being shot simultaneously in several countries.
The project is being carried out by an international team bringing together actors and film professionals from different countries. For the first time, film crews from Kazakhstan and China have joined forces for the production.
“Ultimatum” is the fourth film in the already iconic “Armor of God” franchise. The lead role is played by renowned actor Jackie Chan, who once again portrays the legendary adventurer “Asian Hawk.”
Baku was selected as a filming location in line with the film’s artistic concept. According to the plot, the new chapter of the story unfolds around the Caspian Sea. Therefore, the next stage of filming is taking place in Azerbaijan.
A number of the film’s key scenes will be shot at various locations across Baku. This stage is also particularly significant for Jackie Chan, as it marks the actor’s first time filming in Azerbaijan.
The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan Cinema Agency (ARKA) are supporting the organization of the film crew’s visit to Azerbaijan and the filming process in the country.
More than 100 local professionals from various areas of film production have been involved in the production. Filming for “God’s Armor: Ultimatum” will continue until autumn 2026. The film is scheduled to premiere in 2027.
