Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has telephoned Ukraine's singer Jamala to congratulate her on a confident victory in the Eurovision-2016 Song Contest.

The Turkish president congratulated Jamala, wishing her success in future career.

Jamala in turn expressed her gratitude to Turkey’s president for his attention.


Jamala scored 534 points with her song 1944, about the deportation of the Crimean Tatars.
