The premiere of the play “Angelo rosso a Khodjaly” (“Red Angel in Khojaly”) devoted to the Khojaly genocide will take place at the Azerbaijan State Theatre of Young Spectators at 16:00pm Feb. 22 as part of the international awareness campaign “Justice for Khojaly”.

The play was prepared by the Italian organization Associazione Arci Bellezza with the support of the Council on State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations under the auspices of the President of Azerbaijan. The play which was premiered in the Teatro Filodramattici in Milan was welcomed by local community with great interest.

Given the success of the play, the Council invited its creative staff to Azerbaijan. The play’s script is written by Sabuhi Mammadli and directed by Nihad Isa.
