Azerbaijani films were presented at the 81st Venice Film Festival.
Axar.az reports that the Film Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan informed about this.
It was reported that three films were presented at the festival for the first time in the history of Azerbaijani cinema.
The festival featured director Emin Efendiyev's "Monologue of a Lonely Man" about the Second Karabakh War and director Shamil Aliyev's film "Creators", which tells about Azerbaijani architecture.
Presentations were held regarding the involvement of producers in the joint production of the winning films with foreign companies in the competition held by the Film Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In addition to the project of director Ilgar Najaf's "Birds Are Silent", other film projects to be shot with the financial support of ARKA were also presented to foreign producers.
