American actor Wings Hauser and the father of Yellowstone's Cole Hauser has died at the age of 77.
Axar.az reports his wife, Cali Lili, says he passed away at his home in Santa Monica, Calif., on March 15, following his years-long struggle with COPD, which had required an oxygen tank.
Hauser’s career in movies, TV and music spanned some 58 years.
Among his movies: “Vice Squad,” “Tough Guys Don’t Dance,” “The Insider” and “A Soldier’s Story.”
On television, daytime fans may remember Wings for his role as “Greg Foster” on “The Young and the Restless.”
His work in primetime TV included appearances on “Roseanne,” “Beverly Hills, 90210,” “China Beach,” “Murder, She Wrote,” “Magnum, P.I.,” “The Fall Guy,” “The Last Precinct” and many more.
Hauser’s real first name was Gerald. He got the nickname, Wings, when he played wingback during his days in high school football.
