Azerbaijan prepares to re-export

The idea of railway connecting Iran's Bandar-Abbas port with Helsinki (Finland) port, namely through Rasht-Astara (Iran-Azerbaijan) railway has voiced by Azerbaijan for several years.

Director General of Baku International Sea Trade Port Taleh Ziyadov told reporters.

Stating carrying out enough works by the 'Azerbaijan Railways' CJSC in this direction and continuation of construction of 8 km section of the railway, T.Ziyadov said in the future, integrated supply chain will be established through connecting Iran's Astara to Rasht railway.
