An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 struck eastern Afghanistan on Thursday.
Axar.az informs that this was reported by the European Mediterranean Seismological Center.
It was reported that the earthquake occurred at 16:56 UTC, 48 km from the city of Jalalabad and 36 km from Asadabad.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of 3 kilometers.
It should be noted that more than 2,200 people have died so far as a result of the devastating earthquake that occurred in Afghanistan on August 31.
