Turkish law enforcement agencies have detained 25 relatives of the killed leader of the ISIS group, Abu Bakr Baghdadi.

Axar.az reports this was stated by the Turkish General Prosecutor's Office. The operation was carried out in four states as part of an investigation into the ISIS grouping activity. Eleven of them were detained during the operation in the province of Karshi, 5 in Samsun, 3 in the Army and 6 in the province of Şanlıurfa. Four of the detainees were arrested by the court on charges of participating in a terrorist organization.

21 relatives of the ISIL leader, including two children, will be deported from Turkey.

On October 27, US President Donald Trump announced the death of ISIL leader Abu Bakr Baghdadi as a result of an operation in Syria. The site "Aghag" has confirmed the fact of the terrorist grouping.
