A Russian Mi-28 military helicopter crashed in the Kuban region soon after departing from the town of Korenovsk. Two crew members are dead.

Axar.az reports citing Interfax that the accident occurred on December, 11 at about 23:00 not far from the aerodrome in Korenovsk during a scheduled night training flight in adverse weather conditions. According to preliminary information, heavy fog might have contributed to the tragedy.

The Russian Ministry of Defense sent representatives of Military Space Command to the scene of the crash.
