Shock in Iraq: Protesters lashed out at teenager

In Baghdad, the Iraqi capital, protesters shot a teenager.

Axar.az reports citing the New York Times.

A 16-year-old man opened fire on a pistol during protests in central Baghdad, according to the protesters. The move was misunderstood by the protesters, who alleged that the fire had opened up to them. Protesters attacked Haytam Ali Ismail's house afterwards, wounding him with 17 knife wounds, tearing off his clothes and dragging him to the street, cutting his throat from the heel.

Interestingly, no one, not even the police, intervened to stop the torture of the teenager.
