Strong earthquake in Turkey: There are wrecks

An earthquake measuring 6.8 occurred at 20:55 local time in Sivrica, Turkey's Elazig province.

Axar.az informs that, the quake was felt in many cities in Turkey and in northern Iraq. Earthquakes caused panic among the population.

The death toll from the earthquake has not been recorded. This was announced by Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu.

The minister said that 4 or 5 buildings were destroyed in the earthquake.
