Death toll from a blast in Beirut has risen to 171

A bomb blast near the Lebanese capital, Beirut, has killed at least 171 people.

Axar.az informs that, the statement came from Lebanese Health Minister Hamad Hassan.

He said 30 or 40 people were still missing.

"About 500 wounded need special and sensitive treatment. 120 patients are still in intensive care.

A few days ago, an explosion of ammonium nitrate in one of the warehouses in Beirut caused a serious disaster. In a large part of the city, the infrastructure was completely destroyed.
