The body of an Azerbaijani killed in an attack on a Turkish-owned Liberian-flagged ship Mozart has been brought to Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that Farman Ismayilov's son-in-law was delivered to Baku airport a few minutes ago.

On January 23, pirates attacked a Turkish-owned Liberian-flagged ship, the Mozart, off the coast of Nigeria. Fifteen of the ship's 19 crew members were taken hostage, and an Azerbaijani engineer named Farman Ismayilov was killed in the attack.
