A military helicopter taking off from the Turkish city of Bingol crashed in the Tatvan district of Bitlis.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Turkish Ministry of National Defense.

As a result of the accident, 9 servicemen were killed and 4 were injured.

The commander of the 8th Corps, Lieutenant General Osman Arbash, was among the servicemen killed in the accident.
