Heavy rains have caused floods in the Iraqi city of Erbil.

Axar.az reports that as a result of the disaster, 12 people died. One of them is a Turkish citizen.

According to local authorities, the heavy rains at night led to an increase in the death toll.

In the city and surrounding areas, 100 houses, more than 60 catering facilities and more than 200 cars were flooded.
