Agstafa District Police Department received information about an explosion that resulted in the death of two people at the coal store in Hasansu village of the district.

Axar.az reports that the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs told that the employees of the district police department and prosecutor's office immediately arrived at the scene and conducted relevant investigations.

During the preliminary investigations, it was determined that the deceased persons were Asim Bayramov, born in 1973, and Jamil Asgarov, born in 1979, residents of Goyceli village, Gazakh region.

Investigations are ongoing.

A criminal case has been initiated in connection with the explosion in Agstafa.

The Agstafa District Prosecutor's Office reported on this.

The information says that on April 22, at around 21 o'clock, information was received about an explosion in the territory of the non-functioning old livestock farm in the Vurgun settlement of Aghstafa district.

During the preliminary investigation, reasonable suspicions were established that Jamil Askerov, born in 1979, and Asim Bayramov, born in 1973, died as a result of an explosion during coal production at the mentioned address.

In connection with the fact, a criminal case was initiated in the Agstafa district prosecutor's office under Article 124.2 of the Criminal Code (negligent killing of two or more people).

A preliminary investigation is underway.
