Today at around 12 o'clock there was an explosion at the Shirvan Araz plant LLC of the Ministry of Defense Industry.

Axar.az reports that according to the information provided by the ministry, one person was killed and one person was injured in the hand as a result of the incident.

An investigation is currently underway.

The Shirvan City Prosecutor's Office is conducting an investigation into the ammunition explosion that resulted in the death of one person and the injury of another person at the plant of the Ministry of Defense Industry located in Shirvan.

Currently, the scene of the incident is being examined by the city prosecutor's office and criminal prosecutor.

As a result of an ammunition explosion in the factory of the Ministry of Defense Industry in Shirvan, Mehman Ahmadov, born in 1966, died, and Sabina Shekarova, born in 1978, was injured, and a criminal case has been initiated in the Shirvan City Prosecutor's Office under Article 162.2 of the Criminal Code (when the violation of labor protection regulations causes death due to carelessness).
