A fire incident occurred in Khatai district of Baku.

Axar.az reports that the incident was recorded in the NZS settlement, in the reed area.

Firefighters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and an ambulance were called to the scene. At present, measures are being taken to extinguish the fire.

The head of the Baku City Executive Authority, Eldar Azizov, arrived at the scene of the fire in the reed field near Suleyman Ahmadov Street, Khatai District.

Firefighting operations are ongoing in the area.

According to the information released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, thanks to the operative measures implemented by the firefighters, despite the windy weather, the fire was brought under full control in a short time, and there is no danger to the surrounding areas.
